Welcome to Nari Bikash Sangh (NBS), a dedicated, non-profit social service organization established in 1980. Guided by a rights-based approach, our core mission is to construct an equitable and prosperous society where the women of Nepal can lead self-dignified lives.
Through grassroots empowerment, capacity building, and sustainable social mobilization, we work tirelessly to secure women’s economic, social, and political rights. Across 9 districts, our network connects over 50,000 members through Self-Help Groups and co-operatives, directly serving nearly 200,000 women from marginalized families.
From leading campaigns against gender-based violence to expanding women's leadership in policymaking, NBS stands as a pillar of community transformation and resilience.
